JIC was not my top choise when I guraduated from high school but I very happy that I came here.
the department of electrical & electrincs engineering technology has amazing facilities and very high quality courses which will establish very good foundation in the EEET field.the EEET department has amazing staff, all of my professors have been around to talk and for help in office hours.in general,The education you receive here will not be wasted by any means.
The only thing that sucks about JIC is the college adminstration. the majority of them are motwa’a (religious people) and if you have along hair or you cut it in way they do not like, you will never get your paper done untile you cut it off

Anyone who is going to join as a faculty in JIC . Please think several times before you join this college. Students are very rude here. They copy in the exam and if you ask why? they will turn wild and management support that. They worship god 5 times and still do ally types of fraud in the exam.
The management fixes different types of salary . It is not fixed . You need to negotiate the salary . Anything less than 10000SR as Basics is a poor salary.
Average salary starts at 15000SR.
Life is boring here. Really Saudis are the most racist people in the world.
They want only sex sex. is everything for them.
Plenty of uneducated people are there in saudi.

I have taught EMBA 651 Managerial Economics to graduate students enrolled at JIC in December 2010. All were very attentive, quite polite, possessed excellent math skills, and were truly interested in the course material. In addition, the problem teams were always prepared to present their assignment to class.
The administration, fellow JIC business faculty members whom I met, and the physical facilities were hospitable, helpful, and amazingly modern with the latest tech equipment, i.e., the smartboard, available.
My wife and I have throughly enjoyed our experience in the KSA, a most fascinating albeit religously conservative nation. And trying even a modicum of Arabic produced a kind and polite response from all the local people. I plan to recommend coming to the JIC to my graduate business colleagues back at my home campus.
Lastly, this comment belies the negative criticism posted by James, whom is obviously the typical arrogant Westerner unable to appreciate and assimilate any cultural differences. James – if not already there, you need to go back home, and bloody well stay there.

I went through college website and I found some job openings for lecturer , professors etc. I am very much interested in teaching polymer engineering, Chemical engineering, electrical & electronics engineering. I am from India and working for a private company in jubail. I have done M. Tech In Polymer engineering & technology from very reputed institute. I have some queries as,
1. I am fresher master graduate and I don’t have any experience in teaching but very keen in teaching. Still would I be considered for teaching post?
2. What will be the post and salary package, if I got selected, for M. Tech plus 2 years research and 6 months industrial experience.
