I enrolled in the Graphic Arts program when it first started within 3 months I quit. I quit because the associate dean who was supposed to be one of the best in graphic design ended up not knowing anything about the programs she was trying to teach.

She didn't know much about Photoshop and nothing at all about Dreamweaver or HTML. In fact I had to instruct her in HTML and I learned from a book!

I then got a bill for $4000.00 from the school so I went in to talk to them about it. They said if I came back and finished the program the $4000.00 would go away.

I went back and finished my program and at the end of it I owed the school $4356.00! I refuse to pay them any money for the substandard education I received from their instructors.

I know several students from the school and none of us have jobs in graphic design.

If you are thinking about going to Stevens Henager don't!

So its too late for me to do anything because I already started school about 6 months ago and signed their contract. There has to be a way out and i'M gonna find out how. I have to say I have a problem with the school. The teachers are not that great and even when I submitted my work half the time they would grade it. So basically I got an F for hard work that was never graded. They treat you like crap for $75,000. They must have high standards.Not.

Just surfing around looking for info on this school. Thank you to those who posted their experiences. Based on this, and other reviews I've found, I believe I'll look elsewhere in order to upgrade my A.A.S. degree.

I went to this school for business, and they told me all these things and made it seem like a great school. One thing about this business class the teachers never get back to you, the angel always crashing so its hard to pull sum things up.they told me that they use all my aid so i couldn't go to a different school that year because of that. When the school that i go to now call and ask how much they charge for classes they didn't even know how to answer that. But there's more but i'm just going to tell you if you go here make sure you read everything, listen to everything they say and ask question.

I am a student at the Murray campus in the Resp program. I would like to warn you away from this school. They are indeed liars. They seriously neglect their students. When you least expect it, they start threatening you for things that are not your fault. I think all they want to do is take your money and kick you out of school without your degree. Please do yourself a favor and go to a state school for your education. I hate to even give them even one star, because I feel that they do not even deserve that.

I decided to go for a computer science degree after working for three years. I was in a huge dilemma whether should I opt for full time on-campus degree program and leave my career midway or opt for an online program to continue with my job? Also, I was worried about how would I manage my studies and my job responsibilities. After a lot of research I found out about Stevens-Henager College and its FastFlex Program. Now I can study at my own time with the 24/7 availability of the online study material, meet my instructors whenever I need to and since it is accredited I know the degree will be legit.

Copied straight from Brainmass' website:
Paul Coleman, PhD
Stevens-Henager College
Murray, Utah
2009 - Present
DEAN OF INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

When the staff is willing to work for a paper mill, there is something certainly wrong. They not only try to take your money at the school, but this guy will try to steal your money there too. Ask for a certain word count paper and he will try to pass off a couple web page links for the $40 or so bucks you paid for it. Bottom line is that this school will try to rip you off, whether through their site or others. Find another school that is reputable!

Not a good school. VERy expensive for the education. They are FOR PROFIT. The student is a number. I went to BYU and tried to transfer my associates degree and they told me they do not transfer. I called other schools and they said the same thing. Steven Henagers will NOT tell you the difference about their credits NOT transfering. They have been lying from day one. Their school is an embarassment to the Utah Board of Education (whom I called) and filed a complaint. Stay away from Henagers.

Please check their accrediation. They are 'Nationally' accredited. To transfer credits, you need to be in a 'Reginally' accredited school. Their credits do NOT transfer to the U of U or BYU or UVU etc.... Their degrees cost 3 times as much for nothing. I found this out before I took my second class. I have reported them to the Utah Board of Education. I have recorded their conversations with me. They were all lies to get me to sign a paper. Please tell others that are looking to goto SHC NOT to. You can go to Columbia College in Murray which is regionally accredited like I did. My SLCC credits transfered and their rates are CHEAP!! And their credits transfer to the U of U and BYU. Call U of U and ask about Steven Henagers Credits. They will tell you they do NOT transfer. The student will have to start over.
